  • We do take private hire and garden hire bookings from Sunday-Thursday, private hire requests can be made via the link here or by contacting us directly at manager@blacklion.pub

  • We regularly host DJs, live music and occasional performers. If you’d like to get involved, please email us at hello@blacklion.pub.

  • Our large garden features individual covered and heated booths. During winter (November–March), the entire garden is covered with a stretch tent.

  • Yes, we show major sporting events including the Six Nations, World Cup, Euros, and other championship finals where there’s interest.

  • We offer a range of food that can be adapted for gluten-free, nut-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan requirements, from walk-ins to full buffet catering.

  • We stock a great range of alcohol-free and low-ABV beers and spirits, as well as bottled and draught gluten-free options.

  • We don’t have a cloakroom onsite.

  • No ticket is required. However, free queue-jump tickets are available via Skiddle and Dice for weekend nights. Some special events (such as New Year’s Eve) may require a paid ticket.

  • We have an accessible side entrance via the garden gate, with ramp access, and an accessible bathroom.

  • Dogs are welcome, except for Friday and Saturday after 7pm

  • Yes, children are welcome until 7pm everyday.

  • Under-18s are welcome before 7pm when accompanied by an adult.
